If the fiber comes from an animal it is certified organic and follows the OTA regulations. The use of synthetic hormones, synthetic pesticides (internal, external, and on pastures) and genetic engineering is prohibited. Producers must encourage livestock health through good cultural and management practices. Livestock do not exceed the natural capacity of the land on which they graze.
